DORCHESTER, MA — A new Cape Verdean restaurant opened in Dorchester this month, adding to the mix of “Kriolu” joints in that neighborhood.
Churrascaria Vulcão, owned by Isabel and Andre Gomes, serves food, wine and beer from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily at 203 Adams Street. It accommodates 46 seats.
Mayor Marty Walsh, his Chief of Economic Development John Barros, Councilor Michael Flaherty and State Representative Evandro Carvalho were among the crowd that attended the grand opening.
